19th Century Rustic Country French Pine Buffet is a classic example of rural craftsmanship using time-honored techniques handed down from generation to generation.  Crafted from solid pine through and through, except for the brass drawer knobs and brass hinges, it reflects a business-like presence with subtle molding outlines on the drawers and center stile, with a hint of French scrolling at the apron below.  Such cabinets were essential to rural homes, serving yeoman's duty for storage, displaying mementos, and providing a surface for foods and libations.  At one point it was painted a lively teal color, but that has been stripped away by our professional in-house staff leaving the soft patina of the old-growth pine for all to enjoy and appreciate.
