Antique Country French Buffet ~ Sideboard is an timeless design that earned its own nomenclature in the furniture industry in France as a Trois Porte Enfilade, translating to a three door single tier buffet.  The design features a solid plank top with beveled edge, contrasting with the subtle scrolls of the apron below with subtly scrolled legs and paw feet, centered with a rosette and foliates.  More carved embellishment appears on the drawer facades which are defined by fine molding detail as well as cast brass bale pulls with rosette mounts.  Solid brass key guards and brass hinges on the doors add a nice touch.  The cabinet doors are embellished with contoured framework and raised panels following the scrolled contours.  Door and drawers open to reveal capacious storage, including a single shelf that spans the entire width creating two very versatile surfaces for storage, while the drawers are ideal for flatware and linens.  Sides are two vertical chamfered panels with a subtly carved front cornerpost to create visual appeal from all angles.  Hand-crafted from solid oak to last for generations!
