Hand crafted from solid oak, the piece carries a deep, time earned patina that highlights the carved decoration and brings richness to the grain.
The façade is beautifully composed with two drawers above a generous two door cabinet, offering both beauty and function in the best tradition of French country furniture. Shell motifs, floral sprays, foliate carvings, shaped moldings, and crosshatched accents create a lively surface, giving the buffet a sense of artistry while preserving the grounded character of provincial oak.
The lower apron is finely contoured and carved, flowing gracefully above scrolled legs that finish in hoof feet. Brass hinges and cast brass key guards add a handsome finishing note, bringing a subtle gleam against the darker oak.
