Antique Country French Louis XIV Step-Front Stripped Oak Buffet is an incredible expression of French style and sophistication, yet executed in stripped oak with a relaxed Country French flair that makes it compatible with an entire host of different decors!  The beveled top follows the contours of the casework below that features a step-front center section.  Four generously sized cabinets and four also generously sized drawers create storage opportunities like no other design.  Each cabinet door is embellished with cast brass key guards and richly framed panels.  The center doors boast acanthus flourishes as embellishment, while the outer doors feature a shield shaped medallion at top depicting stylized shell and foliate motifs.  Each of the rounded cornerposts are carved with floral and foliates, as are the facades of each drawer also accented with shell and luxuriously cast brass pulls.  Archer's bow scrolls are exhibited in the the aprons all around, with the front aprons adorned with shell and foliates, all supported by boldly scrolled and carved legs.
