Antique Country French Stripped Oak Buffet

Antique Country French Stripped Oak Buffet is also called a trois porte enfilade by the French, and features Regence-inspired styling which is a splendid blend between Louis XV and Louis XIV styles.  Hand-crafted exclusively from old-growth white oak, it has been gently stripped using our proprietary non-petrochemical method to retain the lovely aged patina and allow the luxurious wood grain to remain evident.  Each of the three doors consists of a brass-hinged framework with arched top carved with shell overlooking the raised panel which is itself carved with beautiful bas relief depicting a crest shape with scrollwork, flowers, acanthus plumes and cross hatching.  Brass key guards add a nice touch, as does the scrolled apron and legs below adorned with complementary and tasteful carvings.  Doors open wide to reveal cavernous storage!
