Exceptional antique Liège buffet crafted from solid oak, with a beautifully stripped finish that reveals the natural grain, warmth and character of the wood. Its richly carved façade, shaped apron and cabriole legs reflect the fluid Régence influence for which Liège furniture is so admired, while its relaxed character embodies the enduring appeal of Country French style.
The carving is particularly accomplished, with scrolling foliage, shell motifs and shaped panels creating movement across the façade. Three drawers extend across the top, joined by three additional drawers through the center, while two carved cabinet doors open to shelved interiors.
