Early 19th Century French Louis XIV Buffet in Stripped Oak is a marvel of hand-craftsmanship and traditional techniques that have been handed down for centuries!  Utilizing dense, old-growth white oak, the artisans fashioned a step-front design, with three spacious drawers extending outwards at the center which provides both visual appeal and more spacious drawers.  The drawers all feature a curved facade with molding carved right into the drawer face, embellished with solid cast brass bale pulls and key guards.   Matching key guards appear on the doors that flank the center drawer tier, with raised cruciform design on the panels.  Undulating aprons carved with stylized shell, floral and foliates are supported by scrolled legs below.  Doors open wide thanks to generously sized solid brass barrel hinges, affording lots of spacious storage.
