19th Century Country French Commode ~ Chest of Drawers is the definition of form follows function!  What appears to be a generously sized three drawer commode, handsome with its subtle embellishments of carved shell and foliates, is actually 4 drawers with the fourth hidden behind the base molding above the bold bun feet.  Cast brass key guards and knobs in the neoclassical style add a nice finishing touch.
