19th Century Dutch Colonial Stripped Oak Chest of Drawers features a tailored, no frills expression of the genre, perfect for the more casual decor.  A solid plank top merges with the caswork thanks to a tier of molding reversed from the sloped bevel of the top planks themselves.  The form of the drawer facades is a somewhat exaggerated shape of an archer's bow, with each contour enhanced by stamped brass key guards and pull guards mounted with bale pulls.  The side panels consist of a well-framed raised panel with concave corners, leading the eye down to the transitional molding then the four corbel-shaped feet.  Four generously sized drawers open to provide ample storage.  Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process that retains the patina and sheer natural beauty of the old wood, all performed by our expert in-house staff.
