Antique Country French Louis XVI Petite Commode

Antique Country French Louis XVI Petite Commode combines timeless, classic style with charming French provincial craftsmanship to create the perfect blend of form and function!  The beveled top presides over the upper crown carved with laurels in a fishscale pattern.  Below appear the three drawers, each carved with beaded trim surrounding floral garlands centered with a rosette puntuated by a cast bronze ring pull.  The drawers are separated by Greek coin overlay, with laurel garlands with ribbon gracing the apron below.  The drawers are also flanked by cornerposts carved with bell flower and beaded trim.  Tapered and fluted legs complete the design.  Crafted from old growth elmwood to last for generations!
