Antique French Louis XV Oval Walnut Chiffoniere ~ Petite Commode is a wonderfully versatile piece that can serve in a wide variety of uses anywhere in the home!  Because it is finished all around, it can easily serve in a seating group even in the middle of the family room.  Great for the bedroom as a lingerie chest, it can also fit in niches and cozy spots where other pieces might protrude, thanks to the compact oval form of the case.  Crafted from sumptuous walnut, it features a tailored, beveled top over four drawers, each following the oval contour and adorned with hand-carved floral and foliates accompanying the bordering.  Each drawer is also centered with a solid brass cast pull.  Support is provided by a subtly flared and scrolled apron with four scrolled legs carved with acanthus plumes on the shoulders.
