Vintage Country French Oak Chiffoniere ~ Lingerie Chest will make a charming addition to any room!  Originally designed for storage of under garments, it became popular anywhere a functional piece was needed that occupied a minimal amount of floor space.  The shallow design makes it ideal for high traffic areas and cozy rooms.  Crafted from oak, it features an arbalette front facade embellished with stylized hand-carved shell and foliate motifs, accented with cast brass pulls at the center.  Even the top follows the contours of the casework, and is enhanced by gadrooning on the edge.  The contoured and scrolled apron is bracketed by scrolled legs with escargot feet for a finishing touch.
