18th Century English Sideboard ~ Console ~ Sofa Table will make an excellent choice as a credenza as well!  Hand-crafted from dense, old growth English oak to literally last for centuries, it was meticulously fashioned by talented artisans utilizing techniques handed down from generation to generation, including hand-planing and pegged mortise & tenon joinery.  The solid plank top provides an excellent surface that at 18" deep allows it to work with high traffic patterns.  Three spacious drawers with beveled facades face the room, each fitted with a brace of solid brass shield bale pulls.  Even the small side panels are beveled for good visual looks from all angles.  Support is provided by sturdy chamfered posts in the back, and hand-turned posts in the front, connected below by a full width shelf that provides even more display and storage opportunities.
