18th Century French Louis XV Walnut Buffet ~ Credenza with Carrara Marble is a testament to the superlative craftsmanship in the provinces of France during the period who strove to follow the style leads dictated by the courts.  In this case, a subtle Louis XV style has been created, with elegantly curvaceous cabinet door panels and molding detail, all supported by an undulating apron and no less than six scrolled legs.  The doors are hung with brass hinges and fitted with brass key guards and beautifully highlight the natural visual appeal of the sumptuous wood.  The sides taper off back to the wall creating a very traffic friendly footprint.  Doors open wide to reveal capacious storage, with two interior drawers hidden behind the left door.  A slab of finely contoured and beveled Carrara marble provides the perfect finishing touch!
