18th Century Rustic Dutch Louis XVI Period Low Buffet ~ Credenza is a timeless example of Old-World traditional craftsmanship that has been handed down from generation to generation for centuries!  Created from indigenous old-growth seasoned oak to last for decade after decade after decade, it features the neoclassical architecture that was so in vogue during the reign of Louis XVI.  Low enough to serve a very wide variety of purposes, it works in a hallway thanks to its shallow depth, or perhaps behind the sofa, or in the family room as the perfect platform for a big flat panel TV!  Tailored molding surrounds the solid plank top, and overlooks a pair of simply molded drawers in front complemented by upper panels on each side with the same molding.  The drawers are separated by a fluted centerpiece, with fluting also appearing on each cornerpost to provide a framework for the drawers and the subtly designed cabinet doors below.  The doors continue the understated elegance with chamfered panels in a two-toned finish that is eye catching.  Doors open to reveal an unencumbered space with shelf below.  A pair of vertical molded panels on each side at the same level of the doors rounds out the timeless look.
