19th Century French Louis Philippe Period Cherrywood Buffet ~ Credenza is a comparatively diminutive example of the genre, making it ideal for a credenza, cozy room, or as an accent piece that still provides a nice surface and surprising storage!  Lovingly hand-crafted from solid old-growth cherry, it features three doors with brass shield key guards, and as many drawers, each fitted with brass knobs and following the contours of the volute shape at the top of the design, so definitive of the furniture architecture of that period.  The richness of the wood has achieved a lovely color and patina over the decades, with but a decade or two more to go before this reaches the two century birthday!
