Early 19th Century Rustic Tuscan Credenza ~ Sideboard in Stripped Pine is an extraordinarily versatile design, able to serve as a sideboard, console, hall table, sofa table, or credenza behind the desk!  The generously mitered corners help the piece present no sharp corners into the room's space, yet extend the interior to accommodate surprising storage even with a depth less than a foot and a half.  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth yellow pine it has survived almost two centuries, and currently sports a stripped finish that retains the natural patina and beauty of the wood.  Panels are framed in tailored molding, with a very subtle scroll on the three aprons below.  Boldly molded rim around the top surface also creates visual interest.  Doors are hung with hand-forged iron hinges, and open to reveal lots of shelves and a completely painted interior.
