18th Century Country French Louis XVI Period End Table is a classic and timeless design not only because it represents the revival of ancient Greek and Roman architecture, but in this case the table is finished and carved on all four sides, making it ideal for a library or as a center table!  Fitted with a single drawer for convenience, it was designed with a plank top and tailored half-bullnose bevel all around the edge.  The top is supported by four apron sections each with boldly reeded flutes spanning from corner to corner.  The corners consist of plinth blocks carved on both sides with rectangular rosettes, under which appear the four tapered, faceted, reeded and fluted legs.  The aprons are also trimmed with carved fringe for a decorative touch.  Perfect for placement anywhere, in any room!
