19th Century Country French Tilt-Top Wine Tasting Table is a charming relic from a bygone era, when vintners stored wine in barrels in the cellar, and from time to time needed to sample the barrels to gauge the progress of the wine.  Small tables like this were perfect for the narrow passageways, and when no longer needed, the top would tilt up so the table took up even less valuable passageway space.  Today, it can serve as a convertible table, and works as a breakfast table or game table, with lots of leg clearance on the sides.  The top has seasoned a bit so it's no longer flat, but such is the charm of such artifacts.  Sold as is.
