19th Century French Gothic Revival Library Table ~ Console was designed to serve a variety of useful purposes out of dense, old-growth oak using techniques that have been refined on the Continent for centuries!  The solid plank top will ensure decades of enjoyment, and is affixed to the support structure below with pegs.  Each side support was hand-cut in an intriguing architectural form, then joined below by a brace of fully-mortised carved stretchers that are shimmed into place.  A carved arch form appears on each side with geometric interior design including quatrefoils for a truly timeless effect.  The perfect size for a wide variety of uses!
