19th Century French Walnut Gothic Pedestal ~ Etagere End Table is an unusual specialty piece that doesn't come around very often!  Hand-crafted from sumptuous French walnut, it features three surfaces~ the top  under which lies an apron surround fitted with a drawer accessed with a cast brass bale pull.  Below that is an arched colonnade effect with detailed carvings providing a framework and tying into the columns that lead the eye down to the lower tier, also framed with finely carved archwork with a geometric pattern on the lower apron.  The architecture was inspired by the flying buttresses of the timeless Gothic castles and cathedrals of France!
