Antique English Chippendale Burlwood End Table with Serving Tray serves three purposes!  The first is obvious, as its timeless appeal is indicative of talented artisans producing attractive, high quality furniture from choice materials.  The second is as a convenient end table, complete with a full width felt lined drawer ideal for any seating group.  The third is the removable top tray which converts an ordinary end table into a serving table, great for entertaining!  The craftsmen carefully bookmatched the burl to create visually stunning naturalistic patterns on the sides and especially the top of the tray.  The curvaceous design of the tray incorporates handles on all four sides for the ultimate in convenience.  Shapely apron that contains the drawer is formed on all four sides, with the drawer fitted with cast brass pulls and key guard.  Four subtly scrolled legs are carved with foliate motifs on the shoulders with talon and ball feet providing support.
