Antique French Louis XIV Walnut Marble Top End Table with Bookshelf was hand-crafted from fine walnut, and features an intriguing combination of style flair and functionality!  The beautifully veined marble top ensures carefree opulence, and is surrounded by double-beveled edge framework.  A tailored apron appears all around, with supports below pierce-carved from solid planks of walnut in an intriguing design with an overall urn shape embellished by stylized and realistic foliate plumage, with a rosette and vine flower taking center stage.  The supports are connected with a "V" shaped bookshelf creating a handy place to put reading materials.  Extended leg structure below ensures stability.
