Antique French Louis XV Maple End Table is an elegant and slightly unusual piece, providing three surfaces in sublime style!  The top edge is subtly beveled and contoured, with a short rail across the back to keep things in place.  A shelf immediately underneath the top creates a cubby hole effect, and mirrors the top shelf's contour, as does the lower shelf which also serves to stabilize the four elegantly scrolled legs, all tipped with escargot feet.  The apron is carved with stylized shell which is repeated on the shoulders of the front legs, under which appear a single wildflower blossom and foliate flourish.  Excellent for any seating group, between a pair of windows, or as a bedside companion!
