19th Century French Louis XVI Rosewood Neoclassical Armoire combines the luxury of the king of furniture woods with the incomparable craftsmanship of Parisienne masters to produce an instant family heirloom!  Measuring just over eight feet tall, it boasts a boldly arched and molded crown festooned with an heraldic crest adorned with floral sprays and ribbon, leading the eye to the carved urn finials atop each corner.  Just below the finials are rectangular rosettes, underneath which appear fluted columns with plinth blocks halfway down carved with square rosettes, and ending with urn pediment bases just above the base unit for the entire piece which consists of large rectangular rosettes on the corners, and a three-panel full width exterior drawer.  Between the columns is the arched, hand-beveled mirror accented with rosettes and a brass key guard that is fitted on the full-length door that opens to reveal four adjustable shelves, and a lower surface just above an interior drawer veneered with bird's eye maple as is the backing on the inside of the door that protects the silvering of the mirror.  Cross matched rosewood panels on the sides ensure visual appeal from all angles, making this an instant family heirloom that is as useful for storage and providing a reflection of your room as it is for creating an unmistakable style statement!
