19th Century French Louis XVI Triple Armoire in Stripped Oak is a masterpiece of understated elegance!  Rendered from old growth oak, it features neoclassical architecture at its finest, with rectilinear form accentuated by a step-front arched center section that houses the full length mirror.  Atop the mirror frame appears ribbon, rosette and floral embellishments in relief, with egg & dart trim all across the entire crown above accented with rosettes, beading and floral garlands rendered in relief on the sides above the side doors.  The side doors feature rosettes and beaded trim with spiral ribbon motif around the ten mirrored panes on each door.  At the bottom of each side door are magnificent relief carvings of stylized urn & foliate carvings in the round festooned with rosettes on each corner.  Banded wheat appears on the four cornerposts framing the doors, leading the eye down to the tailored apron mounted with tapered legs completely carved with uplifted acanthus fronds.  The doors open to reveal cavernous storage as well as well-appointed interior drawers and adjustable shelving.
