19th Century French Louis XVI Walnut Armoire rises a majestic 101 inches and is topped with an incredibly sculpted crown depicting an archer's bow form, en arbalette, centered with a wreath of roses and wildflowers held together with ribbon and accented with acanthus plumes, which continue outward to the corners with graceful flourishes.  The bonnet features bas relief carvings complementing the crown flanked by Greek wave.  Underneath, a full length hand-beveled mirror graces the door, surrounded by molding trim and rosettes and flanked on each corner by tapered, spiral fluted and carved columns leading all the way down to the full width drawer base fitted with cast brass ring pulls.  The door opens to reveal three original adjustable shelves plus a floor surface underneath which is an interior "hidden" drawer.
