Grand 19th Century French Louis XV Walnut Triple Armoire is a majestic example of fine craftsmanship, executed in what experts consider the finest indigenous wood ever available from the continent of Europe!  The triple arched crown is boldly molded and fitted at the center arch with a work of the sculptor's art that revels in the Rococo flair, with stylized shell, floral and foliates featured, cascading down the shoulders of the central arch.  The bonnet is beautifully carved as well, from the recessed, mitered corners on the ends and the step-front center section to the recessed panels, featuring complementary motifs that also extend below the bonnet on the same cornerposts that define the segments of the piece.  Upturned stylized shells reach up from the lower mounts of the cornerposts creating a visually stunning framework for the three magnificent doors.  The outer doors are mirror images of each other, with full relief carvings in the Rococo manner, and open to reveal multiple adjustable shelves.  The center door is fixed with a full length mirror, expertly and meticulously beveled to follow the intricate contours of the framework which is also lavished with carved detail.  That door opens to reveal a hanging rod.  Below the cabinets is a triple drawer tier, with the drawers carved with complementary embellishment and fitted with cast brass pulls.  Below the drawers is yet another tier of sublime sculpture carved onto the undulating apron, with four scrolled and carved legs providing support.
