19th Century English Colonial Inlaid Sideboard ~ Linen Press combines a tailored casework with fanciful embellishments to create a piece that works in almost any decor and room!  The tailored lines are reminiscent of the Louis Philippe style, and the functionality includes two nicely sized cabinets and six drawers, making it suitable as a credenza in the office, a silver and linen chest in the dining room, a platform for a large flat panel TV in the family room, or a multitude of other uses!  Hand-crafted from old-growth oak, care was taken to select the wood used on the facade to create intriguing visual patterns with the grain, enhanced by the satinwood and ebonized inlay bordering including diamond forms on the topmost drawers, rounded rectangles on the three drawers down the center, a spiral rope effect across the entire width of the apron, and a French bordering effect for highlight. The spacious top is barely 3 feet high making access convenient to someone seated.  Brass bale pulls, shield shaped key guards and fancifully scrolled key guards on the cabinet doors complete the look.
