19th Century French Henri II Neoclassical Walnut Buffet will make a handsome addition to any room!  The sheer natural beauty of the highly prized French walnut shines forth, accentuated by the molding and carved detail.  Just below the beveled top edge appears the drawer tier, which features a repeating elongated egg motif on all three visible sides.  Facing the front, three lions' heads appear on each corner as well as centered, separating the pair of drawers, which have been fitted with finely cast bronze bale pulls.  The lions' heads also appear above full columns on each corner, and a half-column serving as the divider between the cabinet door panels, each richly carved with stylized neoclassical themes of scrollwork, foliates and an urn with fruit at the top.  Finely cast bronze key guards add a nice visual accent.  Bold base molding and beaded trim supported by bun feet complete the facade.  Drawers open to reveal wonderful storage, and the aforementioned half column is attached to the right cabinet door so when open, one achieves easy access to the interior fitted with one shelf to provide two storage surfaces.
