19th Century French Henri II Petit Buffet ~ Credenza

19th Century French Henri II Petit Buffet ~ Credenza is a fabulous ode to the neoclassical revival that occurred in Europe during the second half of the 19th century.  Tailored architecture set off by fine molded detail permeates the deisgn.  Corbels with fletching accentuate the crown, underneath which appear Doric capitals and fluted pilasters that join to a double-tiered base below that houses two drawers.  The aforementioned pilasters also serve as framework for the stylized naturalistic relief carvings on each cabinet door with foliage as the primary motif.  Hand-crafted from seasoned old-growth oak to last for centuries!
