19th Century French Henri II Walnut Confiturier ~ Cabinet is a splendid example of fine craftsmanship and wood sculpture, with neoclassical architecture melded with stylized naturalistic form!  The bold full relief carvings on the door panel capture one's attention at first, but then one can admire the molded detail, fluted corbels and tapered columns, and the amazing fletching motif that crosses the entire span of the crown just underneath the egg detailing.  The door opens to reveal useful space inside with a surface and shelf.  Hand-crafted from sumptuous French walnut to remain beautiful for decades to come!
