19th Century French Henri II Walnut Marble Top Confiturier ~ Buffet was inspired by classic architecture, and features a tailored, sophisticated and understated elegance!  Topped with luxuriously veined marble, it features a full width drawer fitted with a brass bale pull and emphasizing pyramidal forms on the facade and flanking plinth blocks.  Fluted pilasters topped with acanthus-plumed capitals serve on each corner, and frame the pair of doors fitted with variations on the pyramidal form with bold molded detail providing accent, complemented by the intricately pierced brass key guards.  A multi-tiered, boldly expressed base molding wraps around the piece, supported by bun feet.  Doors open to reveal a single adjustable shelf, and the full-length double-camming lockwork that is finished with a brass cover plate, a guaranteed feature that always indicates the highest quality of craftsmanship and materials!
