19th Century French Louis Philippe Period Cherry Wood Buffet ~ Credenza is a marvel of the cabinetmaker's art, where skilled craftsmen who learned their trades from their ancestors created works of art that survive today so well that the pieces will still outlast today's brand new furniture!  Crafted from old-growth seasoned cherry wood, the door panels have been bookmatched from solid planks, and feature tailored frameworks for a clean, uncluttered appearance.  Three drawers provide lots of flatware and linen storage with turned wood knobs for access.  The doors are an ingenious design, with a single shelf in each cabinet, but arranged such that there is a 1/3 cabinet on the left, and the right two thirds is conjoined without a partition for storing long things, tall things on their sides, or just a lot of china and glassware!  Tailored lines on the outside speak of a restrained architecture, enhanced with pediment style feet, and of course the pegged mortise & tenon joinery that ensures absolute longevity for your family to enjoy for generations to come~
