19th Century French Louis XIV Marble Top Buffet ~ Credenza ~ Server is a truly remarkable find!  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth quarter-sawn white oak, it has been painstakingly stripped using our proprietary process which retains the natural beauty and patina of the wood for a soft visual appeal that works with so many different decor schemes.  Topped with luxuriously veined marble that has been meticulously contoured and beveled to follow the lines of the casework below, it features a three-drawer upper tier that also sports two pull-out surfaces for the ultimate in utility and convenience.  Each drawer is fitted with finely cast brass pulls.  The side cabinets step out from the main casework, and include spacious interiors fronted by cabinet doors lavished with a stucy of foliate designs in a framework, all of which is carved in fine bas relief.  Rounded cornerposts flank both sides of the cabinet doors, which are also carved with complementary scrollwork and floral designs, with brass key guards.  The center section is subtly recessed, and framed with scrolled molding in a graceful apron form, also carved with complementary motifs including shell, floral and foliates.  The display area is lavished on the interior with three distinct panels, each sculpted with shell, floral and foliate motifs in keeping with the theme, providing a dramatic background for whatever you decide to show off.  Turned and carved bun feet provide support underneath the tailored base molding.
