19th Century French Louis XVI Mahogany Buffet with Carrara Marble Top is a commanding and impressive work of the cabinetmaker's art, distinguished by the striking interplay of richly figured mahogany and luminous Carrara marble.  The beautifully veined marble top stretches gracefully across the length of the piece, its soft tones and natural movement offering a refined contrast to the deep, glowing warmth of the mahogany below.
