19th Century French Louis XVI Mahogany Marble Top Console ~ Sideboard represents the epitome of fine furniture craftsmanship by the master artisans of Paris during the end of the epoch.  Exquisite hand-selected exotic imported mahogany was selected, then carved and crafted to perfection with classical design and adornment, including boldly scrolled legs with laurel wreaths draped below a bold rosette.  Quatrefoil overlay has also been carved into the face of the back cornerposts, with concave shelves leading the eye to the gracefully scrolled front legs carved with the same motif.  Tailored back panels provide a backdrop for whatever you choose to display on the middle and lower shelf, with bold egg & dart adorning the multi-tiered molding that leads up to the luxuriously veined contoured and beveled marble top.  Ideal for a grand entryway, as a credenza or in a gracious hall, it represents the essence of understated elegance!
