19th Century French Second Empire Period Marble Top Buffet is a timeless example of the magnificent furnishings that emanated from France during the reign of Napoleon III.  Using exotic imported mahogany, flame pattern veneering adorns the entire front facade, accented with cast bronze decoration on the drawer with finely detailed pulls, both above and below on the columns that flank the doors, and finally the key guards.  The stately elegance of the design cannot be denied, drawing its architecture from inspiration provided by the ancient Greek and Roman masters.  A slab of intricately veined dark gray marble with white veins provides the perfect carefree surface.  Doors open wide to reveal capacious storage, augmented by the deep, full width drawer above!
