19th Century Louis XIV Style Stripped Oak Buffet is grand in scale and rich in architectural presence and crafted in solid oak.  Presented in a beautifully stripped finish that reveals the natural grain, depth, and character of the wood it features impressive length and stately proportions, this piece has the presence to anchor a dining room, living room, or large entry with grace and substance.
The façade is beautifully balanced with four paneled doors, each adorned with raised geometric molding and refined carved detailing inspired by the grandeur of Louis XIV design.  Draped swag motifs, rosettes, fluted vertical elements, and carved classical accents give the buffet a formal, elegant rhythm while allowing the natural beauty of the oak to remain the heart of the piece.  The long upper frieze includes four drawers with bronze pulls, adding both function and decorative charm.
The stripped oak finish gives this buffet a lighter, fresher appearance while preserving the depth and soul of the antique wood.  The softened surface, subtle grain movement, and hand-carved details create a look that feels historic, inviting, and highly livable.  Its long architectural form makes it especially beautiful beneath a mirror, a large painting, or styled with lamps and decorative objects.
A handsome example of 19th century French craftsmanship, this Louis XIV style buffet combines timeless form, carved detail, and generous storage in a piece that feels elegant, substantial, and wonderfully enduring.
