Antique French Grand Directoire Neoclassical Mahogany Buffet with Carrara Marble Top exudes timeless elegance in abundance!  Crafted from exotic imported mahogany hand-picked for its exquisite color and straight grain, it features a four door panel front with concave sides softening the typical rectangular box effect of other designs.  To further enhance the architecture, the center compartment is slightly stepped forward, and the corners are rounded, which contour has been closely followed by the luxurious beveled Carrara marble on top designed to provide a carefree yet opulent serving and display surface.  The corners and dividers between the four drawers are solid brass louvered plates that accent the cast brass ring pulls.  Six tapered and fluted legs below are also tipped with brass.  The casework is defined by chamfered and framed panels on all visible sides creating appeal from any angle of viewing.  The doors and drawers all open to reveal a capacious interior which is just icing on the cake.  Even the back side shows solid chamfered panels indicative of the incredibly high level of artisanal craftsmanship employed in the production of this instant family heirloom!
