Antique French Louis XVI Mahogany Buffet with Carrara Marble exudes timeless style and opulence worthy of the King himself!  Hand-crafted from exquisite imported mahogany, it features a neoclassical architecture with its requisite rectilinear form enhanced by the application of highly detailed cast brass mounts.  The mounts include wraparound rosettes on the upper corners, an intricate medallion centered on the apron below, finely detailed key guards and laurel wreath ring pulls.  Brass beading forms the border around the drawers, doors and side panels, with brass collars and foot tips on each of the tapered legs. For a relatively diminutive piece, which makes it the perfect size for cozy applications, it offers a surprising amount of storage.  Lastly, luxuriously veined Carrara marble on top provides the perfect display, serving and work surface, complete with cove beveling and contouring to match the casework outlines below.
