Antique French Louis XVI Marble Top Step-Front Buffet in Stripped Oak makes a classic yet casual visual statement perfect for today's more relaxed decors.  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth oak to last for generations, it features a step-front tri-panel design that lends architectural interest.  The center cabinet that steps out is full-height, opening to reveal cavernous storage, and carved with a brace of laurel swags connected with a crest motif.  The side doors feature bold relief carvings of baskets bursting with fruit and flowers celebrating the bounty of the earth.  Even the rounded cornerposts are carved top and bottom!  The fluted apron with rosette complements the tapered and fluted legs, but the marble top which is beveled and contoured to follow the step-front casework steals the show!  What a wonderful piece to add to any room for so many purposes!  Painstakingly stripped using our proprietary methods by our expert in-house professionals, revealing the natural beauty of the old-growth wood.
