Antique Liegoise Louis XIV Serpentine Marble Top Buffet is an elegant design, combining nice storage space in two cabinets, plenty of flatware and linen storage in no less than 7 drawers, and a timeless style that transcends the ages with grace!  Although over 2 feet in depth at the center, the casework tapers off from the bowed center drawer section to serpentine side cabinets to cornerposts that are much closer to the wall, providing a more traffic-friendly footprint.  The casework is comprised entirely of solid oak, with bold double arches on each cabinet door adorned with crests, shells and foliate carvings surrounding the raised panel.  Complementary motifs appear on all the drawer facades, as well as the undulating form of the apron fixed with corbel-style feet for a sturdy platform.  Rounded cornerposts on each side and flanking the center section are also carved with complementary designs, with cast brass key guards, drawer pulls and hinges adding the perfect visual accent.  The top finishes the look with a carefully contoured and beveled marble with subtle earth tones making this piece work with a wide variety of colors and decors.
