18th Century Jacobean Chest of Drawers in Stripped Oak is a splendid example of he genre, featuring a capacious interior for such a relatively diminutive footprint.  Hand-crafted from dense, old-growth quarter-sawn oak, it features solid planks on top, sides, and even the hand-hewn ones in the back.  Tailored molding wraps around the sides, and features a repeating spherical ball pattern defining the tiers across the front.  The top drawer is relatively unadorned, contrasting with the bottom drawer which features a pyramidal design, while the middle drawer boasts the most detail with geometric forms created from molding detail superimposed onto slightly larger pyramidal forms.  Oval brass key guards and pendant pulls on round guards complete the accent to the facade, trimmed in bold base molding and fitted with bun feet to complete the look.
