19th Century French Louis XIV Commode will provide a stately elegance to any room, while maintaining a degree of casual decorum through the use of indigenous oak and relying solely on the sculptor's blade for ornamentation.  The subtly contoured top overlooks the beautifully carved facade with contoured and raised panels appearing even on the sides.  Each drawer features a subtle scalloped contour, and is lavished with shell, foliate and scrollwork, then fitted with brass pulls and key guards.  The drawers are flanked by rounded cornerposts that are lavished with complementary carvings in relief, leading the eye down to the apron and scrolled legs below, all carved to mirror the beautiful detailing above.  Spacious storage in style!
