19th Century French Louis XVI Mahogany Commode with Carrara Marble will make an elegant addition to any decor!  Completely hand-crafted from exotic imported mahogany, it features a tailored neoclassical architecture, with straight lines mixed with rounded corners protruding from the front, and of course four tapered and fluted round legs with brass tipped feet.  What appears to be three small drawers comprising the top tier is in fact a single full width drawer, with two full-width drawers underneath, all of which are trimmed in brass molding and fitted with brass guards and ring pulls, as well as finely cast key guards.  Topped with beautifully veined Carrara marble, the stone has been beveled and contoured to follow the rounded & fluted front corner posts for a touch of visual appeal.  Note the hand-hewn planks and mortise & tenon joinery visible on the back side.
