Antique French Louis XIV Commode ~ Chest of Drawers is a great choice for adding timeless style with superb functionality to any room!  Hand-crafted from solid quarter-sawn oak, even on the back side, it was literally designed to last for centuries.  The beveled plank top features a subtle bowed front, the shape of which is continued in the casework below which was fitted with three spacious drawers.  Each drawer facade is lavished with hand-carved molding detail festooned with stylized foliates and floral sprays.  Each drawer is also centered with a heavy, finely cast brass pull.  The elegantly scrolled apron below features carved detail that complements the drawers, and is fitted to pediment style feet for a look that is as sturdy as it looks.  Chamfered panels on the sides ensure this piece is handsome no matter what angle from which it is viewed.
