Antique French Louis XVI Demilune Commode with Onyx Top combines timeless classic style with exceptional quality in a visually pleasing form.  The demilune shape allows it to be placed in high-traffic areas as there are no sharp corners in the design.  The half-moon form also creates a pleasing visual appeal like no other.  This example, rendered from fine French walnut, boasts two drawers, each fitted with highly detailed cast brass ring pulls with guards, and matching key guards.  Carved pilasters frame the drawers, with a fluted apron all around interrupted by rectangular rosettes that connect to the elegant tapered and fluted legs.  To top it all off, luxuriously veined onyx in a coloration that works splendidly with the brass below.  What a combination!
