French Louis XVI Mahogany Marble Top Commode is an elegant design including a white marble top, three drawers, and beautifully preserved original brass hardware. The casework has a refined neoclassical form, with rounded front corners, paneled drawer fronts, tapered fluted legs, and brass sabots finishing the feet.
The mahogany has a warm, rich grain that gives depth to the clean architecture of the piece. Each drawer is framed with fine molding and fitted with round brass pulls with beaded detail, paired with delicate escutcheons at the center.
