19th Century Flemish Game Table ~ End Table is a wonderfully versatile choice that will find uses beyond its original purpose!  Hand-crafted from old-growth oak to last for generations, it features a double thick top that is hinged, such that one can rotate it 90 degrees then flip it open to literally double the size of the tabletop!  Ideal as a game table, it can also be used in both configurations as a serving table, especially useful when entertaining.  Striking visual appeal emanates from the four aprons, all of which are adorned with a carved angel's face flanked by framed trimwork, and an egg & dart motif across the entire lower apron.  Pierce-carved scrolled corbels transition the apron to the bold plinth blocks of the upper legs, each fitted with pyramidal motifs, leading down to the impressive urn-shaped legs which transition down into lower plinths with the same pyramidal motifs, at which point the four legs are joined with a finely contoured variation on the "H" stretcher for stylish support.  Four turned feet complete the look.
